We’re now a month out from the killing of Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, and a month away from when a grand jury is likely to decide whether or not to indict him. Yet we still have no answers and no respect in the state of Missouri.
Several speakers during Tuesday’s St. Louis County Council meeting lashed out at their elected leaders. The frustrations stem from the shooting death of Michael Brown and the investigation that’s followed.
“Arrest Darren Wilson,” was a chant repeated several times during the meeting. Council member Steve Stenger started to make an opening statement but was interrupted by shouts and chants.

Protesters were intent on shutting down Interstate 70 Wednesday, September 10th afternoon as part of their calls for justice in the Michael Brown shooting case. They were met by a large contingent of law enforcement intent on stopping them.
Ferguson Community Responds to City Council’s Proposed Program Changes Aimed at Reducing Concerns in the Wake of Mike Brown’s Murder
Ferguson, MO — The Ferguson City Council announced this afternoon that in consideration of widespread community concerns in the wake of the August 9th murder of Michael Brown they will be implementing several significant changes to the way the city does business. In a statement issued late this afternoon the City Council laid out plans for a warrant recall, a civilian-run review board, and investments in community infrastructure.
